Christmas Eve

gift
1
[ gift]
Noun
-A thing given willingly with out payment, A present
Verb
-give (something) as a gift, especially formally or as a donation or bequest:

It's Christmas Eve and all through the house nothing is stirring not even a mouse...except the dumb dog in the back round that ate the presents under the tree. I mean like tore them up and ate the contents. The dog is now banished to the back room for the rest of the night.
How you come to realize that you're really bad at rapping presents:
-Big bro gets to the tree and says, "So all the terrible rapped ones are from Sammie right?".
-Grandparents get a gift from you, look at it uncertainly, and say, "So I guess this one is from Sammie."
-Parents pick up unlabeled gift and say, "Thank you Sammie for the present."

Oh well, it's the thought that counts.

Merry Christmas Yall, And to all a good night.

Forgetful

for·get·ful
fərˈɡetfəl/
adjective
-not likely to remember

I completely forgot what I was going to blog about.

Oh, well this will work too.

I was working on drawing a cute anime guy with a felt tip pen, and I was like oh, yeah I'll shade it some.
*shades a little under the eyes with a pen*
Noo, I just made him go from cute and sweet to really creepy and stoned. Noooo Whyyy Life is so hard.

You never realize how terrible the roads are where you live until you try to shade a tea pot with a felt tip pen in a moving car.
IT'S SO HARD.

verb
-to stroke or pat (an animal)affectionately

Hey guys,
Sorry I haven't blogged in a while, I've been super busy getting ready for finals.

For you dog owners out there, do you ever get home from being at a friends house, who also has a dog, and your dog gives you the look of "you've been seeing other dogs haven't you?" It's just a complete look of disappointment, abandonment  and betrayal.

Meanwhile if you have a cat, (I have both) they just look at you and say "oh, your home. didn't notice you were gone. feed me. don't care if you've been seeing other cats, I still own you helpless human. you wouldn't be anywhere with out me."

"We See Exotics"

sar·casm
/särˌkazəm/
noun
-the use of irony to mock or convey contempt.

I saw a sign for a pet clinic today and under it, it said "we see exotics". So I thought to my self, well yes, I think every one sees exotic animals, but the question is "Do you treat them?".

They also had a picture of a bear under the "We see exotics". Does that mean that I can take my bear Yogi in to get his shots? Or does it just mean that they see bears but don't treat them.

Persistence

per·sist·ence
/pərˈsistəns/
-firm or obstinate continuance in a course of action in spite of difficulty or opposition.
-the continued or prolonged existence of something

Wow, it's already December. Thanksgiving has come and passed, and now there are christmas songs playing on the radio, and even more christmas decorations in the stores.

I asked a friend if she would like to suggest a word for the blog and her word was persistence. I thought it was really great because there are quite a few people at holiday season time, and even before that, that are very persistent. (like those over exited chistmas friends that start celebrating Christmas in August, like me) First I would like to acknowledge all the people working at convenience stores, Walmart's, and all those others out there. All you poor souls that as soon as July starts you're out there stocking the shelves with Holiday goods.

Another group of people that I would like to say that are very persistent are all those band and orchestra conductors. It really takes a lot to get 32 high school band kids to practice, but somehow they do it, and lo and behold they sound wonderful at the concert. That is thanks to an hour of frantic practicing right before the concert. We may not seem like we are thankful but we really are, you conductors have given us memories and friends.

So thanks to all those persistent orchestra and band conductors.

Goodnight guys :)
